Holiday Acres is a family-owned campground in Garden Prairie, Illinois, along the Kishwaukee River. Spacious, shaded sites and shared outdoor spaces make room for weekend getaways and entire seasons.
Spend time with family, join a campground activity, or enjoy a quiet evening at your site. We’re glad to be the place so many campers return to.

Spacious Spots
We love this park. We travel full time in an RV and this is one of our favorite places. For a private park, it really has that state park (our favorite) feeling. Spacious spots with the Kishwaukee River bordering. Perfect for kayaking or fishing. We spend about 3 months here every summer. –Mike and Dixie C.
Kids love the Pool
We love it here our favorite thing to do is just hang with friends and family at the site and enjoy the outdoors. The kids love the pool and being able to ride bikes around with other campers. There's Activities
“Best camp ground ever”… We love the flowing river, the spread out campground, and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. There’s activities on the holidays and weekends. We’re looking forward to our grandkids learning to camp there soon. –Karl and Katie K.
Beautiful Campground!
This truly is my Happy Place. We Love the large grass and tree covered sites. New family ownership in 2021 and in just one season many improvements have been made. Great family park full of wonderful people. The on site restaurant is the best in the area. We are excited to return next season to take part in all they have to offer.–Ken and Jen M.
